QuickLoadz Launches Second Reg CF Campaign on Republic!

Exciting times are upon us as we redefine the world of freight. Today, the QuickLoadz team is thrilled to announce our second Reg CF round on Republic! We’re opening the doors for EVERYONE to acquire a stake in our company.

Innovation 50 Years in the Making

For the past 50 years, intermodal freight has been largely unchanged relying on expensive, fixed infrastructure for container movement. This long-standing inefficiency not only inflates costs but slows the global economy. With more than 600 million ISO containers moving worldwide annually, there needs to be a better way to move sea shipping containers to reduce delays.

QuickLoadz introduces a paradigm shift with its revolutionary smartphone-controlled trailers. Engineered to move shipping containers faster, safer, and more efficiently than ever before. The innovative system eliminates the need for expensive loading docks and cranes. Drivers can now remain seated throughout the entire process, significantly enhancing overall efficiency and productivity. Now, a container can be loaded or unloaded in 3 minutes with the tap of a few buttons.

Goods and materials must be 4ft off the ground, waiting to load or unload. Transport drivers wait anywhere from 3 hours to 3 days to unload at a loading dock. QuickLoadz reduces that time to 3 minutes! On average, only 1 in 20 container chassis is in transport. The other 19 are sitting, waiting to load or unload. That means 95% more container chassis need to be licensed, maintained, insured and managed compared to one QuickLoadz.

QuickLoadz at the Future of Supply Chain Conference

On May 10th, QuickLoadz will do what has never been done before. CEO Sean Jones will remotely load a full sea shipping container that is 900 miles away.

While standing on stage at the FreightWaves “Future of the Supply Chain” event in Bentonville Arkansas, Sean will move a full sea shipping container at our plant in Athens, Ohio.

This isn’t a stunt. This is to show that QuickLoadz is the future of the supply chain. QuickLoadz is so automated that we can move 90% of the world’s freight remotely.

Bentonville, Arkansas… that town sounds familiar…

QuickLoadz to Attend The Utility Expo 2021

ATHENS, OHIO—QuickLoadz will be attending The Utility Expo 2021 from September 28–30 in Louisville, Kentucky. QuickLoadz will be exhibiting at Booth A1006. Our booth can be found directly through the doors across from the registration desk.

Attendees will be able to experience the unique, patented hardware that enables QuickLoadz to automatically load a container in three minutes. QuickLoadz can load or unload shipping containers up to 60,000 lbs. without a crane, winch or forklift. Powering every QuickLoadz is the Brain Box—an onboard computer with a built-in Wi-Fi access point—allowing drivers to control every function with a smartphone or tablet from inside the truck. Every QuickLoadz trailer features a rearview camera, Lift Wedges that gently raise the container, drive chains that load the container by grabbing its corner castings and four hydraulic locks that secure the container without straps.

QuickLoadz revolutionizes freight in six clear ways:

  1. Our customers can make more deliveries every day, which can add up to hundreds of thousands of dollars in extra income from one QuickLoadz over the life of the trailer.
  2. Drivers like moving containers with QuickLoadz because there’s no manual labor, drastically improving employee retention.
  3. QuickLoadz has a perfect safety record with zero reported injuries in eight years.
  4. QuickLoadz gives moving and freight companies a local monopoly on handling loaded shipping containers.
  5. The surface-safe rollers on the back of every QuickLoadz bed eliminates loading surface damage.
  6. The Brain Box powering every QuickLoadz trailer today will allow for a cloud logistics network with real-time location tracking and reporting.

QuickLoadz will be demoing a prototype all-electric trailer drivetrain. While QuickLoadz trailers today feature a 38 HP Kohler EFI engine, QuickLoadz is developing the world’s first battery-electric automated trailer with a 11.5 kW electric motor. This is the first step in developing our electrified product lineup, a transition we expect to be commercially available for the 2024 model year.

The Utility Expo Floorplan

QuickLoadz at the OSU Farm Science Review

QuickLoadz is attending The Ohio State University’s Farm Science Review 2019 in Columbus, Ohio. The show starts today, Tuesday September 17th, and runs through Thursday September 19th.

QuickLoadz will be in Exhibit Area 74 featuring the 20k Super Bed and 60k Super High 40 models.

  • The 20k Super Bed offers great versatility with its 50° tilting bed for dumping container contents like a dump truck, optional tow package for moving tractors and equipment, and self-unloading flatbed.
  • The 60k Super High 40 can move a fully loaded 40′ container full of grain, corn, wheat, and other crops, or two 20′ containers with the optional Dual 20′ Container Package.
  • The standard shipping container provides a low cost, secure, safe way to store your crop for long periods of time—every shipping container is an air-tight, water-tight, bug and rodent-tight steel safe. Specialty containers can dry crops inside the container.

QuickLoadz for Agriculture

At harvest:

Time is money, and the one thing farmers don’t have a lot of. Minutes count.

Save time and money.

Move to QuickLoadz with sea shipping containers for harvest.

  1. Using a QuickLoadz trailer, drop cheap $1,000 wind and water tight containers field-side whenever convenient. A day, a week, or a month ahead of time.
  2. Unload the crop straight from harvestor to the containers. Close the doors. Containers are cheap; water, rodent, and insect resistant; giant steel vaults.
  3. If you need more storage, buy another container—cheap, practically indestructible, and you spread out your risk to many steel boxes.
  4. When convenient, using your QuickLoadz, pick up loaded containers from the fieldside. Your schedule, not the grain container’s, not the weather’s.

No waiting on grain trailers.

No worrying about it raining on your grain trailers. No silos.

Plus: Some QuickLoadz customers are drying their crops in containers they modified. Some QuickLoadz customers are moving their crops straight from field side to rail.

But QuickLoadz has so much more to offer.

Dual 20′ Container Locking Pins

An automated container mover.

Three minutes. Never leave the seat in the truck. You see all those containers everywhere. From the back of a Walmart to a job site. Every single container needs moved. With a QuickLoadz, you have the only automatic system to move them.

With QuickLoadz, you have the only automatic system to move loaded containers. Fully freight compatible, loading dock accessible. What to do in your down time? Make money doing what no one else can.

A flatbed.

But not a regular flatbed, QuickLoadz is a flatbed that can unload itself.

An equipment mover.

QuickLoadz is an equipment mover. With a 38 HP EFI engine behind it and 30,000 pounds of pulling force, those drive chains will pull just about anything up on that bed.

A dump truck.

The truck version of QuickLoadz is not only a rollback tow truck, it is a dump truck. Top that.

Get ahead of the game. Buy a QuickLoadz.

CONEXPO

I was at CONEXPO 2017 for 5 days in Las Vegas last week. It was my first time and I had no appreciation of just how huge the show is. 2000+ exhibitors and over 150,000 attendees. It was an excellent chance to talk to lots and lots of people from trailer manufacturers, to government buyers, contractors, hydraulics suppliers, everyone. One of the main reasons I went was to see if anyone had come up another sea container moving system. There wasn’t one. QuickLoadz is still it.

There is a great deal of competition in the trailer markets. Although different manufacturers put their own innovations and production values in their products, essentially there are a lot of companies making very similar products, which means there is downward pressure on price, as price becomes the only distinguishing factor. The advantage QuickLoadz has is there is nothing else like it. There is no other system designed for moving sea shipping containers. Flatbed trailers can’t load or unload themselves. Tilt trailers are not designed for moving containers and don’t do it well; tilt trailer manufacturers do not recommend moving loaded containers with their products.

QuickLoadz is the only system designed to take advantage of the fast growing market for moving ISO sea shipping containers. With its patents granted in the US, Canada, the EU, Australia, and China, we are positioned to stay far in the lead. QuickLoadz is unique, is half the price of side lift crane trailers, is lighter, faster, safer, works with loading docks, requires little to no training, and has less than half the operating costs of side lift cranes.

I feel good about the future of QuickLoadz. Maybe I should raise prices…

NO WINCH • NO CABLES • NO CRANE • NO DANGER

About QuickLoadz

QuickLoadz trailers feature the company’s revolutionary, patent-pending container moving system. QuickLoadz trailers are the world’s first no-winch, completely automated trailers for container transport.

QuickLoadz was founded on a simple premise: There must be a safer, smarter, faster way to move ISO shipping containers.

Prior to founding QuickLoadz, Sean Jones—Founder and CEO of QuickLoadz—owned Rockside Storage, a mobile storage business based in Southeast Ohio that was successfully acquired by Mobile Storage Group in 2007.

Like many mobile storage business owners, Jones was frustrated with the existing market solutions for pickup and delivery of ISO shipping containers to the end user.

A trained engineer and owner of a construction company, Jones set to work to design a better way to move containers. What had begun as a necessary ‘hack’ to compensate for the inefficient moving systems that had plagued Rockside Storage gradually evolved into QuickLoadz’ revolutionary trailer design.
